The first part of nwt 1 took place in summer and due to the pandemic as a pure online event. The second part will now take place from 26-28 October 2020 at Arts et Métiers Institute of Technology, Lille, France. A live video stream will be available for those participants who cannot attend personally because of COVID-19 related travel restrictions.

The ESRs and interested external participants will learn about nonlinear dynamics and reduced order models for geometrically nonlinear ropes, beams, cables etc. from Prof. Olivier Thomas.
