End of March 2021: Two online courses combined in one week

POSTED: 14 March 2021

THREAD’s network wide training programme is continued by online courses on Research ethics, Research valorisation and Entrepreneurship (nwt 12 on March 25, 26 and 27) and Textile engineering and Cable harnesses (nwt 7 on March 29, 30 and 31).

The course on Research ethics, Research valorisation and Entrepreneurship is hosted by the Transfer and Entrepreneurship Office of Martin Luther University Halle‐Wittenberg and covers topics like research valorisation, innovative idea generation, intellectual property rights, research ethics and entrepreneurship. Tomaž Šuštar will discuss some experiences with research‐based enterprise creation at C3M. At the end of nwt 12 we will come back to the lion’s head that illustrates this news post.

The course on Textile engineering and Cable harnesses is organised by the THREAD team at University of Liège and includes group projects on the geometric modelling of the braiding process, on cable harness technologies and on the modelling of a cable harness. THREAD’s partner organisations contribute an introduction to textile engineering (Centexbel) and lectures on numerical simulation of slender structures in industry (GDTech).

Both courses are free of charge and open to external participants. Please contact us here for more details (deadline for registration is March 17, 2021).
